PBL Resouces

The following definitions come from google:

Project Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge.

Problembased learning (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of solving an open-ended problem. Students learn both thinking strategies and domain knowledge.

Problem and Project based learning are practically the exact same thing!  This is the type of pedagogy and learning that enhances STEAM learning and gets students thinking and MAKING while utilizing the Design Process. The Mobile Fab Lab Team is here to help you design and implement PBL units in your class for any grade!
Most PBL units conclude with students presenting a solution to their problem or  a final project, the Mobile Fab Lab can take those solutions or projects to the next level with students actually making models of their solutions and/or fabricating projects with digital tools and the technology available on the MFL.
